Palmetto Dunes Palmetto Dunes is where you'll find some of the most beautiful oceanfront homes available for rent, plus many lovely villas and condos with excellent access to the three Palmetto Dunes golf courses. Turn onto Queens Folly Road from the Hilton Parkway and you enter the very special Palmetto Dunes community. As you drive along the slowly curving (and tree-covered) road you'll see some of the villas that are adjacent to the fairways of the George Fazio and Robert Trent Jones golf courses. Off of the traffic circle at the end of Queens Folly you'll find the North Gate that guards the entrance to the most expensive of the homes in Palmetto Dunes. The alphabetically ordered roads (Armada, Brigantine, etc) contain homes valued at up to $7 million. There's a significant number of larger homes that have 5-8 bedrooms, perfect for a group golf outing or family event. If you'd like to spend a few days living like a millionaire (or maybe you already are "well-to-do" and you'd like to try before you buy), this is the place to be on Hilton Head Island.
